Chad RingwaldChad is the oldest sibling in TriAg’s partnership. He is married to Angie and has two sons, Nathan and Evan, and one daughter, Lauren. TriAg counts on Chad to train the rest of the employees on the proper operation and maintenance of all equipment. Chad also supervises the winter maintenance on each piece of farm equipment. In the winter, each of our primary machines (combines, tractors, air seeders, planter, etc.) goes through our shop and receives extensive preventative maintenance. This has proven to be very beneficial since it greatly reduces breakdowns during critical operations. It has also benefitted our business by increasing the speed at which breakdowns are fixed. Having been through the equipment thoroughly in the winter, Chad is familiar with the design of the machinery and has an idea how to approach the repairs efficiently. Chad is also our primary combine operator. He has attended training programs offered by Case IH to learn as much as possible about the operation of our combines and brings the knowledge back to our farm to maximize the efficiency of each of our machines. He even receives calls from others in the community to help solve problems they are having with their combines at harvest. Chad also manages the alfalfa operation. This includes production as well as all sales.

Christopher Ringwald
Christopher graduated from K-State with a degree in agronomy. After college he promptly earned his Certified Crop Adviser license (CCA). He uses this knowledge to ensure we make the best decisions with regards to crop rotation, seed variety, plant date, harvest date, and fertilizer/chemical application. Christopher has attended the two offered sessions of "The Executive Program for Agricultural Producers” or TEPAP. During these week long courses Christopher was able to learn from leading experts in financial, personnel, public relation, and strategic management, along with many others. We have used the knowledge he gained there to better set and gauge specific goals within our farming operation. The management skills learned at TEPAP have also helped Christopher to see the big picture within our farming operation, helping us to better manage our resources and time. Christopher also oversees all the financial aspects of our farm. This includes our banking relationships, managing financial records, and monitoring the profitability of the various areas of the farm.
